Metallica is putting on a one-night-only charity event this fall.

On Wednesday (September 19), the rock band announced their plan to raise money with an acoustic showcase through their All Within My Hands Foundation.

The Helping Hands Concert and Auction takes place at the Masonic in San Francisco on November 3, where Cage the Elephant will open the function with an acoustic set as well.

You can buy tickets for the show starting Friday at 10 a.m. PT on Ticketmaster. However, through October 14, fans will be given a chance to win third-floor seats with each $10 donation.

The "Nothing Else Matters" musicians established their organization in February 2017 with the purpose of “creating sustainable communities by tackling the issues of hunger and workforce education and encouraging volunteerism.” The charity has donated over $750,000 to local food banks across the world since its inception.

All this month, the legendary group has launched its #MetallicaGivesBack initiative to raise money for select charities and relief institutions in North America, including those in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Winnipeg, and Saskatchewan.

Back in May, the unit extended their efforts by holding their inaugural "Day of Service," a program that invites fans to join the bandmates in helping at food banks and give back to their communities.

"As someone who has been a loner for most of my life, being in the Metallica family has always given me a sense of belonging and made me feel like I was not alone," drummer Lars Ulrich wrote in an essay for Rolling Stone to express how hard-rock and metal fans are just as sympathetic to charitable causes as everyone else.
